The BikesAli has ridden all types and makes of bikes - many of which have been ridden by the famous, inluding: Phil Read, John Cooper, John Surtees, Tom Heron, Stan Woods & Tony Rutter.The main Championship winning bike was the 830cc BSA (converted from 750cc) once belonging to Ron Chandler who won a big race at Rouen, France. The bike was bought with the controls back-to-front ie. with the brake and throttle on the left side of the bike (because of his bad arm, so the story goes). This bike won Ali and BeeBee over 50 races. It ran standard aluminium con-rods, ordinary points and was never above 8000rpm! The most famous bike Ali rode was the bike that beat Agsotini's MV - the BSA 750 Rocket 3 - demonstrated at Aintree race meeting. This bike was fast, if not faster than the BSA 830. Ali's last bike was a Honda super Blackbird which was sold in 2011 ago and he hasn't rode a motor cycle since. Ali's previous bikes include a Honda CBR 900 Fireblade and the Carl Fogarty replica 996 below.
